Success Universe teams with Shanghai Welfare Lottery on telephone sales
Success Universe has reached an accord with the Shanghai Welfare Lottery Centre to jointly launch telephone sales of welfare lottery tickets in Shanghai. The revenue from the venture will be decided according to a fixed percentage of sales, the company said in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing, without providing details. Total lottery sales in Shanghai for the first two months of the year were up 50 percent outstripping the national average of about 13 percent growth, the company said. Total welfare lottery sales were up about 18.3 percent. The Welfare Lottery accounts for about 57 percent of China’s lottery sales.
