US Court orders Tinian Dynasty to pay $191,000 penalty

The now defunct Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino has been ordered to pay a $191,400 civil penalty to the U.S. Department of Labor secretary “for willful and repeated violations” of the overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standards Act, local media reports.

Chief Judge of the District Court for the NMI Ramona Manglona made the ruling against the owner of Tinian Dynasty owner, Hong Kong Entertainment Overseas Investment Ltd. last week.

The casino, located in Tinian island in the CNMI had its license canceled in May last year after it failed to comply with audit requirements.
