World Poker Tour heads to NagaWorld

The World Poker Tour today announced a collaboration with NagaWorld to host WPT Cambodia from November 16-25, 2019.

This monumental event is the first World Poker Tour festival ever held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and begins a new collaboration with the stunning NagaWorld property.

The World Poker Tour (WPT) Cambodia festival is highlighted by the $1,100 buy-in WPT Main Event that features a handsome $250,000 guarantee. The WPT Cambodia Main Event will take place from November 21-25. Additional 16 events are scheduled to be a part of the WPT Cambodia festival, with buy-ins for bankrolls of all sizes, ranging from $250 up to $5,300. Among the event types scheduled to be included are Short Deck, Turbo, Bounty, and Pot Limit Omaha.

NagaWorld operates the largest integrated entertainment and leisure complex in Phnom Penh, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia and in the Mekong Region. NagaWorld’s attractions include two five-star hotels (Naga 1 and Naga 2), award-winning restaurants and luxurious spas, duty-free shopping, extensive entertainment and gaming facilities.

This event is also made possible and supported by Connaissance Management, a boutique gaming event consulting company.

“Asia-Pacific is a hotbed for poker and the WPT is proud to bring another exciting event to the region,” Angelica Hael, VP of global tour management for the World Poker Tour, said. “This event would not be possible without continued support from players around the globe and we invite them to join us this November at the wonderful NagaWorld property.”
