Casino operator Wynn Macau has announced new maternity and paternity benefits for all eligible employees, with effect from May 1, 2018.
Under the new scheme, the duration of paid maternity leave will be increased from 56 days (8 weeks) to 70 days (10 weeks), while paid paternity leave will be increased from 2 days to 7 days (1 week), which exceeds the requirements of Macau Labor Law.
The maternity benefits are applicable to all female team members who have completed one year of continuous service as of the date of confinement, while the paternity benefits are applicable to all male team members who have completed one year of continuous service, and can be taken on or within 30 days after the birth of the child.
Wynn said it believes that enhancing the Wynn Maternity and Paternity Benefits sets an industry-leading example in Macau and represents a further step in strengthening family-friendly policies and measures for all team members.
