Galaxy's EuroJapan Cup draws more than 65,000 fans

The Galaxy Entertainment EuroJapan Cup drew 65,000 soccer fans to watch the friendly match between the English Premier League 2019 Champions, Manchester City, and Japan’s Yokohama F. Marinos, which the English team won 3-1.

In the run-up to the match at Yokohama Nissan Stadium, the Galaxy Entertainment Junior Soccer Cup was also held, resulting in victories for the teams Noba KC in the U-8 category and Mamedo FC in the U-10 group.

Galaxy Entertainment Japan Chief Operating Officer Ted Chan commented, "It has been an honor being able to bring such world-class sports entertainment to Japan and such enjoyment to local communities and junior players in Yokohama. Galaxy will be supporting various sports and entertainment events as part of our IR business development in Japan and providing world class entertainment here, as well as showcasing Japan's attractiveness to the world. We hope to support the further development of sports in Japan and contribute to local communities here for many years to come.”

The day before the EuroJapan Cup was held, Galaxy’s Macau rival, Melco Resorts & Entertainment, held a press conference in Yokohama announcing a long-term partnership with the Yokohama F. Marinos, which will now begin to wear a Melco logo on their uniforms.
