L’Arc Macau encouraging staff to take unpaid leave

L’Arc Macau is offering subsidies to its workers to take unpaid leave, according to a company internal notice released on Monday.

The reward program, titled “Leisure - Life”, offers casino workers MOP1,250 (US$156.3) for every week of unpaid leave taken.

‘The company understands that some workers may have lost much time with their families, or some were not able to fulfill their big dreams due to work. As such, the management has decided to release this reward programme,’ wrote the company in its notice.

The company also added that it may extend the program past July and August if it proves popular among staff.
