Melco Crown denies interest in Cypriot casino project

Macau casino operator Melco Crown Entertainment has denied it is seeking the gaming concession in Cyprus, according to a statement issued by Melco Crown.

The statement followed an article by Cyprus Weekly earlier in the week, which quoted an unnamed inside source saying that Melco Crown and Bloomberry Resorts are strong contenders for the competitive Cypriot casino project.
