Caesars Forum on pace for March 2020 opening

Caesars Forum, a state-of-the-art 550,000 square-foot conference facility under construction in Las Vegas, is on pace to meet its scheduled March 2020 opening date.

Last month the final steel beam was placed atop the structure, forming a key milestone in its construction.

The $375 million conference center will feature the world's two largest pillarless ballrooms and will be equipped with the latest in MICE industry technology.

Michael Massari, chief sales officer at Caesars Entertainment, told the media, ”The interest and bookings for our world-class facility have exceeded our expectations and we look forward to serving a variety of clients when we open the doors to Caesars Forum next year.”

Construction on the facility began a year ago, in July 2018.

Last month Eldorado Resorts reached an agreement to buy Caesars Entertainment in a deal worth, including debt, about US$17.3 billion. If the deal is ultimately approved by shareholders and regulators, it will create the largest IR operator within the United States.
