Five arrested in India for accepting bets on Asia Cup T20

Five people have been arrested for betting on the Pakistan and Bangladesh match in the ongoing Asia Cup T20 tournament, local media reports.

After a tip off, police raided a home at Neptune Society in Bhandup on Thursday night, and arrested 5 suspects with ages ranging from 23 to 45.

Two LED television sets, three laptops, 42 mobile phones and other incriminating items were seized from the flat, according to a police official.

An investigation into the matter is now underway.
