Grand Lisboa sponsors Dota 2 esports tournament


The Grand Lisboa Hotel was the title sponsor of a recent Dota 2 tournament held in Macau, held on December 8, 2017.

This is the first international eSports competition held in Macau, with nine teams of contestants coming from around the world.

As the title sponsor of MDL Macau Dota2 International Elite Invitational, Grand Lisboa Hotel provided an international tournament experience with Macau’s local characteristics for global DOTA2 players and viewers.

The three-day event schedule comprised the single-round tournaments (with BO1) held on 8 and 9 December, with the top four teams entering the semifinal (with BO3) on 10 December. The event also brought together eSports celebrities, along with hip-hop star Gosh from Chongqing of China, NBA basketball star Jeremy Lin, and Mario Ho, creating a top-notch eSports and entertainment extravaganza.
