Largest soccer betting ring cracked

Guangzhou police arrested 157 people and froze Rmb132 million ($21.4 million) in a move against a soccer betting ring after a year-long investigation. The police said the ring handled more than Rmb100 billion in bets on domestic and international matches and was the largest ever cracked in China.
