Gross gaming revenue for April is expected to gain between 17 percent to 21 percent to a range of MOP23.5 billion ($2.9 billion) to MOP24.4 billion, research firm Bernstein said in a note.
The firm said according to its channel checks, average daily revenue month-to-date has been MOP800 million, which is 4 percent lower than March and 8 percent lower than February.
The decline was due to a lower VIP hold rate during the month, while hold in March was very high. Daily mass volumes are slightly higher, it adds.
Visitor arrivals to Macau during the Easter holidays also dropped 5 percent year-on-year to 403,000, it notes.
