New 5-star casino and hotel opens in Sihanoukville

Goddess of Liberty Hotel & Casino, a new five-star hotel-casino in Sihanoukville officially opened on Wednesday, according to local reports.

The opening ceremony was attended by Madam the Honorable Dr. Men Sam An, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Communications, along with the attendance of the Governor of Sihanoukville province, HE Kuoch Chamroeun.

It is understood that the owners of the hotel-casino have invested over $100 million in the development. It’s a rather large complex built on two hectares of land and employs more than 1,000 employees across its hotels, restaurants, entertainment facilities and casino.
