New products, online, fuel China lottery sales

China lottery sales in October reached US$3.35 billion, up 26.2 percent year on year. Welfare lottery sales last month reached $1.91 billion, up 28.9 percent from a year earlier, while Sports lottery sales rose 22.8 percent year on year to $1.44 billion. The Ministry of Finance reported that sales had increased 19.2 percent in the first ten months of the year, reaching a total of $41.29 billion.
