Tak Chun opens VIP club at Four Seasons

Junket operator Tak Chun Group on Sunday unveiled a new VIP club at the Four Seasons Hotel, local media reports.

The new VIP club contains 12 tables with four VIP rooms.

Tak Chun CEO Levo Chan said the company is planning to open another VIP club in July.

Regarding his view on the VIP market, Chan expressed his confidence in the market.

“Both segment [mass market and VIP] will improve this year,” said Chan, quoted by Macau Business. “The growth rate of VIP will be more or less the same as last year [or] a bit better than last year.”

Tak Chun chief financial officer KH Tsang on Sunday said the company’s VIP business “is performing better than the overall market”.

Tsang said both mass and VIP operations are growing strong.

“There will be a few more VIP clubs to open in the future and we will focus on the local market,” said Tsang. “[We] might open one to two more VIP clubs in the second half of this year.”
