Revenue from electronic gaming machines in the Australian state of Queensland were down 2.4 percent compared with the same period a year earlier, though the Gold Coast is bucking the negative trend with a gain of 2.3 percent year-over-year.
Revenue from Brisbane was down 2.2 percent, CLSA Research notes.
Year to date, revenues are flat in Brisbane and up 2.8 percent on the Gold Coast.
CLSA said it expects a stronger performance in the second half of the year, “given no disruptions and easier comps.”
